Welcome To Sarver Fire Company

Our company is located at 110 Elliott rd, sarver Pa 16055, make a right off of Ekastown rd, and we are right behind Outlook Point Commons.

We at this point in time have around 35 volunteer members at our station. Which is broken down into, Juniors (ages 14-18), Active members (18 and up), and Social members (active during time of visit). We also have our list of non-active members, which includes members who like to help out around the station, help with Fire safety/education, and fund raising.

MULTIPLE ALARM FIRE AT EXCEL MINERALS

BARN FIRE WINFIELD TOWNSHIP

On May 30, 2008 at 1122 Station 36 was alerted to assist Winfield Twp VFC(46) at a barn fire at 626 Bear Creek in Winfield. Other companies on scene included Saxonburg(15), Buffalo(27), Herman(10), Fawn Twp #1(150) and Hilltop Hose Co(168). Station 36 remained until 1446. Chief 46 had command.

 
   
   
 
SMOKE IN THE BASEMENT 2199 GARDEN WAY

At 1757 on 04/25/08 companies 36(Sarver), 27(Buffalo), and 169(Harrison Hills) were dispatched to 2199 Garden Way for reported smoke in the basement. First arriving units reported light smoke on the first floor and the basement. Firefighters from 27 and 36 located a small fire in the basement which they quickly extinguished with a pw can. Units on scene included Engine 36, Truck 36, Engine 27, Engine 27-2, Engine 169 and Medic 45-1. Chief 36 had command.

 
 
1197 BUTLER ROAD APARTMENT FIRE

Companies 36, 27 and 70 were dispatched to 1197 Butler Road at 16:59 for an apartment fire. Chief 36-2 was first to arrive on scene and took charge of interior operations leading the crew from Engine 36 to the fire in the kitchen of an apartment on division 2. The fire was extinguished in short order and ventilaton and overhaul were performed. A crew from Engine 70 performed a primary search of the building as directed. Engine 27 members assisted with ladders, overhaul, and water supply. Chief 36 had command. Stations 15 was on standby for 27, and Engine 168 was transferred to station 36 for the fill-in assignment. Units on scene included Engine 36, Truck 36, Engine 27-2, Engine 70, Engine 70-2, and Medic Unit 70.

 
 
36 AND 27 RESPOND TO WOODS FIRE

Companies 36 and Companies 27 were alerted for fire in the woods near 228 Cole Road at 14:06 hours on 04/19. Units on scene found a small fire in a stand of pine trees. The fire was extinguished and scene cleared at 14:43. Units on scene included Brush 36, Engine 36, Brush 27 and Engine 27-2. Chief 36 had command.

 
 
BRUSH FIRE 430 SARVER ROAD

Companies were alerted for a brush fire at 430 Sarver Road at 14:19 hours on 04/18. Engine 36 and Brush 27 quickly extinguished the fire and were back in service at 14:36

 
 
BASEMENT FIRE 161 HARVEY ROAD

Companies 36, 27, 15 and Freeport EMS were dispatched for a structure fire at 161 Harvey Road on 04/11/2008 at 1509. Engine 36 was the first arriving unit and reported smoke showing from the basement area of the house. The attack crew from Engine 36 entered the structure and were able to quickly knock down the fire in the basement. Units on scene included Engine 36, Engine 27, Engine 15-2, Tanker 15 and Freeport Medic Unit. All units cleared the scene at 1612. Chief 36-2 had command.

 
   
   
 
MVC ON ROUTE 28 SOUTHBOUND ON RAMP

Companies 36, 27 and Freeport EMS were alerted for a single vehicle collision on the on ramp to Rote 28 south at Route 356 and 0027 hours on 04/11/08. Units on scene included Rescue 36, Brush 27 and Freeport Medic Unit. A single patient was transported from the scene by Freeport EMS. Units cleared the scene at 0109. Chief 36 had command.

 
 
STATION 36 TAKES DELEIVERY OF NEW BRUSH TRUCK

The Sarver Volunteer Fire Company has taken delivery of a new brush truck. The truck was manufactured by Fouts Brothers Fire Equipment. The Chassis is a 2008 Ford F550 with a 300 gallon tank and 300 gpm pump.

 
   
   
 
2 CAR MVA BUTLER ROAD

Companies 36, 27, and 70 were alerted for an MVA involving 2 vehicles on Butler Road in the front of the BP Station at 1138 hrs. Units on scene reported 3 patients and requested additional Medic Units from 45 and 110 along with Medic 272. Chief 36-2 had command.

 
   
   
 
27, 36, 15 AND 70 ALERTED FOR POSSIBLE COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE FIRE

Companies 27, 36, 15, and 70 were alerted for a possible structure fire at 104 North Pike Road, Ekas Automotive. The fire was limited to the outside of the building and was caused by a defective section of electrical heat tape. Units cleared the scene at 1115. Chief 27 had command.

Companies 27, 36, and Freeport Ambulance were dispatched for a Motot Vehicle Accident at South Pike Road and Younkins Drive at 0713. First arriving units on scene reported a tri-axle versus automobile with 1 injury. Responding Units included Engine 27, Rescue 36 and Freeport Medic 70-2. Chief 27 had command.
